Profile stocked, fabricated in our own shop — windows, doors, sliding systems and curtain wall
We hold Everest profile in stock and fabricate in our own shop. That is the short version, and it is the reason this page exists. Most glazing contractors order profile against a job and wait. We carry material, which means production can start as soon as the drawings are settled rather than after a shipment lands.
What we stock covers the range we actually build with:
Everest Construction Group has manufactured aluminum profile systems since 1997, with its plant in Albania and its US operation in South Hackensack, New Jersey. We fabricate the finished windows, doors and glazed assemblies here, to the openings we have surveyed.
That division is worth understanding. The profile system determines what is possible — the sightlines, the thermal break, the tested performance. The fabrication determines whether you get it: how accurately the sections are cut, assembled, sealed and glazed. Both have to be right, and we control the second one.
Everest work is spread across the city: the whole-facade package at 2535 Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, the divided-lite front at 99 Claremont Avenue in Morningside Heights, the condo windows and balcony doors at 2518 Ocean Avenue in Brooklyn, and the two-storey curtain wall at 24 Frost Street in Williamsburg. Profile is stocked and fabricated on Staten Island, so lead time on Everest is the shortest of the aluminum systems we carry for Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan jobs.
Every window and door we sell falls into one of three product lines — budget, standard, premium — sorted by whose components are in it. Everest is our standard line for American aluminium: a branded system with published sections, named hardware and Solarban glass, fabricated in our shop from stock profile. Its base configurations — standard hardware, standard low-E, white or bronze — price close to the budget line for landlord replacements; its top configurations — heavy-duty hardware, laminated or triple glass, custom colours, oversized sashes and curtain-wall integration — are premium work. That range is why it is the system we reach for most on Brooklyn and Manhattan apartment buildings.
We hold Everest profile in stock at our shop, which no other fabricator in the city does at this scale, and we cut, machine, assemble and glaze it ourselves. That means production starts when the shop drawings are approved rather than when a container lands, and it means a replacement sash or a damaged unit is remade here in days. We have built complete Everest envelopes — windows, balcony doors, corner curtain wall, ACM panels, canopies — on 2535 Frederick Douglass Boulevard, the Everest showcase at 2518 Ocean Avenue, the divided-lite front of McGiffert Hall, the structurally glazed curtain wall at 24 Frost Street and the Dodworth Collective in Bushwick.
Send us the window or door schedule, or photographs of the openings with rough sizes, and tell us the building type and whether there is an architect, a co-op board or the Landmarks Commission involved. We come back with the series that fits, the glass and hardware named, a price, and the lead time. If a different system suits the job better we say so. We survey before fabrication, produce shop drawings for approval, fabricate or order to survey, and install with our own crews; for projects outside our installation area we supply by container. Everest Construction Group has made aluminium profile systems since 1997. As a branded, tested system with named hardware and glass it sits in our standard line, and it is the American aluminium we build with most.
Yes; we hold Everest window, door and curtain wall profile in our own shop and fabricate from stock, which cuts lead times and makes replacements fast.
Typically four to eight weeks from approved shop drawings for windows and doors, longer for curtain wall, because we fabricate from stock rather than ordering profile.
A Solarban low-E insulated unit on a warm-edge spacer as standard; laminated, acoustic and triple units as options.
